This half term our topic is Magic and Mayhem!

We will send home homelearning activities and other useful tasks.
Learning at Home
1. Reading – read at least 3 times a week and read whenever you can – cereal boxes, bus stops, adverts, shop windows! Read, read, read and listen to the adults model reading in your life.
2. Learn your phonics sound by practising what you learn in class each week at home.
3. Counting – can you count to 10? 20? Can you write your numbers clearly? If so why not learn your numberbonds to 10? Or try learning your 2, 5 or 10 times tables.
Key Dates, Events and Activities
PE: – PE kit to be worn on Tuesdays (outdoor) and Thursdays (indoor)
Woodland Learning: We will have one woodland day this half term on Wednesday 22nd September. We will be out all morning so dress appropriately and bring a plastic bag and change of clothes in case you get muddy.
School Trips & Events: These will only be held once we are all satisfied they will be safe and guidance allows. .
We understand that sometimes the return to school after a break can be difficult and will do everything we can to support your child. Please be assured that our classroom will continue to be the safe, fun and engaging place it has always been. The return to school will be CALM and all the children will be looked after. If you ever wish to contact us please use Class Dojo to message us – no worry too small – and we will repsond as soon as we are able.
