Following the Covid-19 school closure we have planned how we will deal with pupil’s return to school.

The plan focus’ on our key aims and details how we will continue to provide for and support our children and community.

The basis of this planning has come from a variety of sources to which we are immensley grateful. The main thread running through our plan is from The Recovery Curriculum Think Piece: A Recovery Curriculum: Loss and Life for our children and schools post pandemic. by Barry Carpenter, CBE, Professor of Mental Health in Education, Oxford Brookes University. Matthew Carpenter, Principal, Baxter College, Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

You can find out more about the recovery curriculum at Charnwood by downloading this document: The Recover Curriculum at Charnwood Primary Academy

All other information about school re-opening, wrap-around care, in class learning, uniform and behaviour as well as our sports and pupil premium spending strategies can all be found on the relevant pages of this website and will be regularly updated as we add to and adapt our plans.
