As part of our harvest celebrations we are asking for tins and packets to support our foodbank donation. Please send donations into school where we will quarantine them and pass them on. Thank you for your support.
This week is National Recycling Week. It is the focus of our assembly. Children are invited to make something new from an item that was going to be recycled and send a picture of it to Mrs Stanley. How creative can you be?
Individual Photos take place on 21st September. Unfortunately this year due to not mixing our bubbles within school we are unable to have pictures of siblings together. IF you have a twin sibling, becuse you are in the same class/bubble, you will be able to have yours together. Thank you for your understanding.
Arrival and Departure from School
Thank you for your patience today as we welcomed the children back to school. As I'm sure you are aware we have a very small entry and exit point for many children. Whilst we have staggered the times slightly we have also tried to ensure people are not waiting on site for long either to drop of and pick up. To help us remain covid secure I ask that only 1 adult comes onto site with the child. Please queue up the ramp and reamin at a suitable distance. Please could children from Year 4 upwards walk onto site by themselves and straight to their classroom. If you need to talk to the teacher please either dojo or make an appointment, we hare very happy to talk to you at another suitable time. Please make your way onto the playground to collect your child and they will be brought out class by class. If your child is old enough to leave site by themselves please ensure your child knows where you will be waiting or if they should walk home. Nursery children will be directed to their cloakroom door from tomorrow. Thank you.
We are planning for the return of our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children. The 1st June will be a day for staff to ensure all measures are in place. Key worker groups will continue as normal from 1st June. Details including times and groups will be shared via class dojo. As usual asny questions please e-mail Mrs Stanley.
You Are Doing Great!
To all our Charnwood families we wanted you to know you are all doing a fantastic job! Please don't stress or worry about the learning - do what you can and enjoy it. There is no expectation to complete it all and certainly no expectation for you to remain learning all day! Take time for family fun too. PS if we call it is only because we miss you and want to check you are all ok, nothing more! We miss you all! Take Care and stay safe.

Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19, especially washing hands more; and the catch it, bin it, kill it strategy for those with coughs and sneezes.
