Welcome to the SEND support page.

I will be posting useful resources and links to provide you with support and sanity over the coming weeks. Likewise if you have found any activities that you think others would find useful just dojo me and ill upload it.

Tuesday 19th May

Good Morning
After reading the government briefing this morning there has been a support package put in the place for families with SEND children. The
money will help low income families with
seriously ill or disabled children with the cost of
equipment, goods or services from washing machines to sensory and educational equipment. The grants are typically worth £400 to £500 per family.
Families can find out more and apply directly for
grants from Family Fund.
I have included the family fund eligibility criteria below. If you think you qualify and need any help apply please dojo me!

Tuesday 5th May

I have found a wonderful free sensory kit to download-its a great way to keep children stimulated, focused and calm in the current lockdown situation when you are not able to get out and access activities as usual.  I will try to upload the link for the kit on the website but it will also be available via classdojo if I'm unsuccessful.

If you are on facebook try to follow Nessy Uk as they are uploading free maths activities and resources.

I have attached a document from our Educatioonal Pyshcologist , its a leaflet regarding Covid 19 designed for children.  Hope it helps.

Wednesday 1st April

Ive found some brilliant videos on youtube for sensory chalk walks. These are a great idea to regulate sensory processing or simply to get active. Try doing one of these before children start their school learning or just after lunch, you may find that children concentrate better after this. We tend to do sensory work at the beginning of the day or just after lunch and we find it really helps children settle so they are in the right mindset for learning.

Tuesday 31st March
