Welcome back Reception,

I hope that you're all safe, well and have managed to have a well deserved break over half term. 

As you know, this half term school has opened to Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 so I will now be teaching in school all day. However, our online/home learning will continue! I will share all of the challenges for the week together at the beginning of the week along with a weekly timetable. The timetable (see below) is a suggested timetable similar to that of the one we will be following in school should you wish to complete the challenges within a similar routine. However, the challenges are there for you to use in whatever way works best for you and your family. You will find the challenge mats saved as PDF documents under "useful downloads" along with any accompanying documents required. Each challenge mat will be named with the area of learning it is related to (see highlighted areas of learning on the timetable below). All links shared can be found under "useful links". Any teaching videos will be shared on our class dojo story.

As I am teaching in school if you require any support during the day or have any questions/problems please contact Miss Todd or Miss Watts. They are both now linked to our class dojo page and you can contact them via private messages. I will take a look at the fantastic work you have completed each evening via your class dojo portfolios.

The challenges set will aim to revisit and reinforce prior learning as well as focus on key skills. You will notice that we are now revisiting the phase 3 sounds we learnt last half term but this half term there will be a focus on writing as well as reading. 

Whether you're learning at home or in school you are still very much part of our Reception class and we are all in this together. Keep in touch and keep up the fantastic work.
