Science


At Charnwood we aim to inspire curious citizens of the future. 

We do this by aiming to build the science capital of all of our pupils. 

This is achieved through teaching the National Curriculum in an engaging and hands on way from EYFS to Year 6. We also ensure that pupils are experiening science in the real world and encountering the ways that it benefits our lives. 

Teachers plan science that  is relevant to the class topic and children are rewarded through celebration of learning through stickers, certificates and displaying work.

WE ARE PROUD TO BE A PART OF SUA TRUST 

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership.  The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support.  In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Eduction of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
